MRS DIVIRGILIO'S PICKS OF THE WEEK:
I will always try to share books that I read in class with you. I can't stress how important reading to your child is. If you happen to have these books at home (please do not buy them), you can re-read these stories with your children. This is a way to make a connection between home and school. Below are the stories we are focusing on this month.ELA:

✅ Practice reading and spelling the Trick Words daily.
✏️ Encourage your child to “tap out” each sound when spelling.
Read together each night and have your child point out any words that follow the Floss Rule.
When writing at home, remind them to check for double letters in words like bell or grass.
