Weekly newsletter 3/23-3/27
This week in Religion, we will continue learning about the parts of the Mass. In Language Arts, we are continuing Fundations Unit 8, focusing on r-controlled syllables, specifically the sounds of ar and or, while reading Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type and working on compound sentences in grammar. Comprehension and Grammar Test will be on Thursday, 3/26. During Writer’s Workshop, students will continue opinion writing, learning how to share their thoughts with supporting reasons. In Math, we will continue Chapter 5: Subtraction with Two-Digit Numbers. In Social Studies, we will begin learning about important documents in U.S. history, including the Declaration of Independence. In Science, we will continue Chapter 4: Habitats and Environments. Our Science test will be on Friday, 3/27. -
