GOLC TIMELINE

Tara Guido was the mastermind behind our GOLC. She came from a private school in Sparta where they had an outdoor classroom. Using this inspiration, she organized our Walk-a-Thon fundraiser and reached out to our community for any help that could be given. Through the support from parents and community members, whether it was donations, expertise, or hands-on labor, the GOLC was quickly born and has taken on a life of its own. Over the years, it has grown into a special place for our teachers and learners and it continues to evolve each year. Below you will find a snapshot of how it began and where it is today. ​
