Harvesting

Students have been working hard to harvest all the plants grown in the GOLC this Fall. Classes are winterizing the garden beds with leaves to help retain moisture in the soil, suppress weeds, and add organic matter, which will improve soil health for spring. Plants are continuing to grow inside the STEM lab this winter to see if we can grow bigger carrots, beets, and onions in the coming weeks. The ​Garden is officially closed until Spring.
